Custom-made mattresses

Send us the shape. We’ll build the mattress.

With on-site mattress manufacturing in High Ridge, we build mattresses for the beds that don’t take a standard size, with cut corners and rounded edges where you need them. 40 years in the bedding business.

What we build

If it has a bed, we can make the mattress.

  • The bedroom of a motorhome, with a queen bed under the cabinets

    RVs & campers

Short queens, cut corners and rounded ends for travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes.

  • A wooden cabin cruiser on open blue water

    Boats

V-berths and cabin bunks cut to the shape of the hull.

  • An antique iron bed with brass finials and a patchwork quilt

    Antique beds

Three-quarter and other old sizes, so a family bed can be slept in again.

  • A gooseneck horse trailer with living quarters, parked at a barn

    Horse trailers

Mattresses for the gooseneck and living quarters, measured to fit.

  • A dark wood bunk bed with a trundle on the showroom floor

    Odd sizes at home

Daybeds, bunks, attic rooms and built-ins that no store carries a mattress for.

  • How it works

    1. Measure the bed or the old mattress. The guide below shows how.
    2. Send it with the form on this page, or bring it in to the store.
    3. We call you with a price and a build time, and answer any questions.
    4. Pick it up in High Ridge, or we deliver it for an additional fee.
How to measure

Measure twice. We’ll cut once.

Width and length

Measure the platform or frame edge to edge, at the widest and longest points. Round down to the nearest half inch. A mattress that’s a hair small fits; one that’s a hair big doesn’t.

Corners

For an angled corner, measure how far the cut runs along each edge. For a rounded corner, lay a straightedge along both sides and measure from where they’d meet to where the curve starts.

V-berths

Measure the width at the head (narrow end) and at the foot, then the length down the middle. If the sides curve, a paper template traced on the berth is best. Bring it in and we’ll work from it.

Height

Check how much room you have: under a cabinet, a bunk above, or a slide-out that retracts over the bed. That decides how thick the mattress can be.
