Looking after it

1. 1Give it a week to cure before the first wash, and keep it out of the rain the first day if you can.
2. 2Hand wash with a pH-neutral car soap, two buckets and a clean mitt. Skip automatic washes with brushes.
3. 3Dry with a clean microfiber towel or a blower. No squeegees or old bath towels.
4. 4Get bird droppings, bugs and tree sap off within a day or two. They etch even coated paint.
5. 5No wax or polish needed on top. A coating-safe spray sealant every few months keeps it slick.
6. 6Keep up the maintenance visits. They decontaminate the surface and top it up, and they keep the warranty going.
